Humanity
Humanity never travels alone: it is always accompanied by compassion, love , care, integrity and honesty. We are all born with these innate human characteristics. An individual or their circumstances have to work very hard to lose their humanity. The world promises nothing but harmony and peace if we all work towards maintaining our rightful God-given gift of having humanity.
Justice
Justice is what holds society together and protects it against unforeseen circumstances. Justice maintains peace, equality, humanity and love. Justice is essential to ULU because we understand its role as an umbrella to protect and serve those in our communities.
Equity
We hear conversation of equality, but that can never be achieved if we do not talk about equity first. Our world has a history of groups not being treated equally because of their sexual orientation, gender or race. To make up for the imbalance, we have to achieve strive for equity by attending to the unique needs of each group of marginalized people. We are one race, the human race.
